The Viable Alternative

Okay….I wrote this about a month ago, and things have changed since then, but it’s still very important, so here goes….

Ho hum….

So, I’ve been tempted to be stressed because I’ve been facing some financial challenges as of recent. Now, because I believe words are powerful and they create our reality, I don’t want to go into detail as to what they are. I’ll just say that right now that really, it’s just me and God. He’s my sole hope.

In the midst of my tribulations, I’m just thanking God as if it’s already been taken care of, because in actuality, it already is. Somewhere in the spirit realm, God has a ready made solution for my challenge, so by my words, I claim it.

In fact, whenever I get tempted to freak out, I just start to thank God out loud. If you saw me at the gym this past evening, you would’ve though I was crazy, because in between my workout sets, I’d start thanking God over and over again for delivering me from my challenging situation in loud whispers.

On an aside, right about this time, I don’t give a damn who thinks I’m weird or crazy. I have more important things to pay attention to than that.

This goes in line with what I’ve learned and witnessed this year that the next level of Faith from asking God for things in prayer is thanking God for the things you desire as if you already have them. This includes bringing you through a challenging situation.

I’ve witnessed “miracles” happen by doing this.

Okay, well maybe not the type of miracles like say, turning water into wine or parting the Hudson River, but just an amazing turnaround or outcome to a situation that illustrate the power of Faith in action.

I know it’s easier said than done, but if you’re currently going through a challenging situation, try to muster the slightest amount of Faith or even gratitude within you, and start to take authority over your circumstances by thanking God “as if” things were solved. On top of the words used, start to arrange your life in full expectation that a solution is on its way.

Live as if the solution is here and know in one way or another, God has you in His hand.

Again, it’s not easy, but that’s what I’m doing, and this has worked surprisingly well in the past.

This is The Viable Alternative.
