Your Peace of Mind and Inner Connection Is PRICELESS

Inner Peace

As of recent, for the most part on quite a consistent basis, I feel a very strong sense of a connection to my real self. With that has come a sense of peace and knowing that I’m being taken care of and that everything in my life is going according to Plan. This has been all the result of so far, three years of therapy.

However, as I was going about my daily business yesterday, I started to lament how I wasn’t “successful” yet by society’s standards, and that in all my years of living on this Earth, I have little to show for it. As I started to delve deeper into this thought pattern, I suddenly stopped and realized that though I may not be “successful,” there are many successful people who wish they have the sense of self connection that I’ve been experiencing that I had to work so hard to attain, so there was nothing for me to be upset about because I was on the right path.

The Bible says, “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” If you define the “kingdom of God” as a state of being and not a physical location, we can see that most people chase success so that it can get them to the “kingdom,” and then when they attain this “success” they realize that it hasn’t gotten them any closer. They then wind up chasing more success hoping that it’d give them that connection that they seek within. Ultimately, many remain unhappy because they’re missing that connection within, and no matter what they attain on the outside, it doesn’t compensate for what they’re missing within.

Now, of course I would like to have some success in my life for goodness sake, but in this realization, I saw that God was laying in me a proper foundation of wholeness so that my success can be more holistic and fulfilling. There’s another Bible verse that says, “Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.” In essence, the proper way to build success is to take care of our inner world first, and that will lay the proper seeds for external success which includes financial prosperity among other things.

I realize that no amount of success can replace a personal peace within, because if it could, there wouldn’t be so many celebrities on drugs or committing suicide. I remember what it was like to have more money than I knew what to do with and be totally completely unfulfilled and miserable. As such, I’m grateful that God has brought me to a place where he first built the peace, inner connection to my heart and happiness, which has allowed me for the first time in a very long time feel in alignment with my goals and desires where I actually feel they’re really possible and am taking steps towards them.

Indeed what I have already is priceless.

This is The Viable Alternative.

Hope this helps,

Ike Love
